AWCC Ltd made the following submission to the Fair Work Commission Paid Agents Working Group‘s option paper on the 25th March 2024.
AWCC Ltd recommended the FWC implement all recommendations and expand the proposed framework to include the ability for professional associations to opt in. AWCC Ltd highlighted the benefits of this option, and provided examples of what this may look like. AWCC also provided further research which support adverse observations made by the FWC in its Options paper of poor conduct by paid agents.
