Industrial Relations Submission – Wage-Theft & Employee like forms of work

AWCC’s submission to the recent Industrial Relations reform discussion papers where we addressed:

1. Employee like forms of work and
2. Wage-theft.

Of particular note are our recommended changes to the definition of wage-theft (to wage-fraud) and introduction of a further three categories of non compliance in this area, Underpayments, Overpayments and Maladministration, in addition to the introduction of whistle blower protections for public servants and ADF members that detect and report wage-theft, and protections for victims of overpayments (including Defence members) against adverse administrative action for receiving an overpayment.
